The Financial Services Innovation Lab (FSIL)
The Financial Services Innovation Lab in the Scheller College of Business contributes to Georgia Tech’s mission of effectiveness and innovation as a hub for finance education, research and industry development in the Southeast. It aims to accomplish this vision through four inter-related channels: original research; experimental learning; events involving students, faculty, students and practitioners, and career development. Corporate partners -- including the Intercontinental Exchange, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, and Voya – provide insight that helps the Lab examine topical issues related to the financial services industry and FinTech, such as blockchain applications, smart contracts, cryptocurrencies, cybersecurity and risk management, as well as machine learning applied to finance.
